Custom App Deployment SSO Errors

I am trying to follow the tutorial for deploying a custom app to one of my SaaS clusters, but seeing a these errors:

I already have proxy variables configured as other posts have recommended. I suspect that it might be an issue with federated auth, possibly because the GET request does not allow redirects.

Possibly the same error as this one, but no actual solution was provided on that post.
