API with daily resolution in non UTC timezone?

DynaMight Guru

I have noticed that values that I collect through the v2 API are not correct relative to the Portuguese timezone, when using a daily resolution, "resolution=d". Half of the year we are at UTC and it works, but not in Summer time.

What I want is to produce a report of daily values for a month, but I don't want to iterate each single day, which would produce 30x requests.

Is it not possible to tell which timezone to use in the API?

Hi Antonio,

UTC is the default time that everyone uses to access the API.

The only place I know of where you can change the default time gathered is in the "User Session API" where there is a parameter called "offsetUTC". See below document:

I don't believe other endpoints have this parameter available as of right now, but it would be a good quality of life improvement when working with the v2 API's. I would suggest mentioning this in the product ideas forums if it is not there already.

Hope this helps.

Yesterday, I had checked, but no reference appeared. I checked more carefully today and it seems no one has suggested it, so I put in this one:
