Differences between dashboard data and API export data for the same period, how to solve this problem?

I compared the data of DDU dashboard for the same period with the data exported using the API, and found a difference. I don’t know what caused it, please help me and give me some suggestions.

The picture below shows the data displayed by the Data explorer of a tile in the dashboard. Query data from 2023-04-01 00:00:00 to 2023-10-01 00:00:00, the sum value is 24,082.809.

Below screenshot is GET /metrics/query query in Metrics in Environment API v2， the sum value is 23,777.604.

Hi @EvaWang,

Just a tip. Have you tried to change the resolution in the API request from 1M to a smaller time frame eg. 1w or 1d or 1h or 1m?

Do you get the same result with different resolution?

OR

Set the data exporer resolution to 1M instead of auto and then compare the API result with the Data Explorer result.

Thank you János, the solution works for me, I changed the API request to 2d, because the data unit was 2 days during my selected timeframe in Data Explorer. Now, the data are same 👍 Thanks.
