How to get all metric data points for any entity via API?

Hello Everyone,

I am new to Dynatrace and its APIs, I am trying to get data points for all metrics available for any entity via api. I am facing problems with metric Selector. Is there any api or any generic metricSelector that would return all metrics independent of entity type.

Have you tried the GET Metrics endpoint ?
