Is the following use case scenario supported by Dynatrace?
SAML  2.0 with Azure for only 2-factor authentication and simultaneously  LDAP  integration for assigning users to groups automatically based on  LDAP  query

Yes, it is a valid scenario. You have to configure  LDAP  to assign groups for users.
