Please can someone explain the exact roles of Cassandra DB and Elastisearch in Dynatrace Managed?
From some reading, I understood both are NoSQL DBs used to store unstructured data.
Cassandra stores configurations like host groups, tags, MZs, etc., whereas Elastisearch stores time-series data like metrics collected from different sources, right?
Please provide me some example data stored in these, particularly from the Dynatrace point of view.
Thanks,

Cassandra and Elasticsearch storages are both components of Dynatrace Cluster.
Cassandra: contains the timeseries metrics data (like Purepaths etc.)
Elasticsearch: contains Real User Monitoring, synthetic sessions, problem events data etc.
More information on datatypes are also answered here: https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/Alerting/what-are-the-different-type-of-data/td-p/122675
