Does Dynatrace Managed installer check RAM and minimum number of CPU cores?

Hi,

I know that the dynatrace managed installer checks for a minimum of RAM available (if not it aborts). Anybody know if it also checks that a minimum number of cpu cores are available on the server?

Just RAM and disk space. No CPU checks as far as I know.

Exactly check if minimum system requirements are met:

• system is 64-bit
• system version/distribution is supported
• the sudo-like (sudo, pbrun, etc.) command is able to give root privileges
• RAM
• required amount of space on install path
• required amount of space on datastore paths

Radoslaw, if the RAM on the VM is less than our sizing spreadsheet recommended, the installation will fail? (we have multiple nodes, but each node might only 32 GB ram -- company infra limitation).

It will only fail if RAM size is below 16GB. It doesn't check RAM for a particular node type.
