Dynatrace Managed firewall: TCP or HTTPS?

On Dynatrace Managed deployment page, we could see the firewall port requirements will be https 9999 but we generally use TCP port. Any specific reason to mention https 9999?

The http(s) protocolo (OPI layer4) is based on TCP (OSI layer3), so it's TCP port 9999 anyway.
