Hi, I am using self hosted on-prem Gitlab as my DevOps platform for running pipelines. I have two servers one for Gitlab instance and other for Gitlab Runner. I want to install and monitor these Gitlab hosts on Dynatrace. We have managed Dynatrace with ActiveGate running.
I couldn't find any documentation around it. Can someone advice if this is even possible and if yes then how do we achieve that please?

Hi Shashank,
Are you asking about integrating with GitLab pipelines as well?
Dynatrace OneAgent will work to monitor the GitLab services and processes. You'll even be able to have Real User Monitoring automatically track user sessions for the GitLab web interface.

Hi,
I've seen it's possible to integrate Dynatrace and GitLab using Dynatrace Cloud Automation module.
Is it possible to ingrate both using a webhook integration without using Dynatrace Cloud Automation module?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Elena.

We have been working on gitlab opentelemetry tracing, please reach out to kristof.renders@dynatrace.com (me) if you are interested. Please note that this is not a Dynatrace R&D supported effort, but rather (soon to be) open source
