Extracting Technology version in a process group instance as a TAG

Is it possible to use autotagging to extract the technolofy/version as a tag? so that we can split on it further.

Ie show me all tomcat of version xyz. 

(we don't have app security, which might be able to help in this area with out of date versions.)

Hi,

I do not see a out-the-box placeholder for tomcat version. As you have said, app security will help on this.

A workarround can be:

1. Ingest custom host metadata using oneagentctl.
2. Convert that metadata in tags using auto tagging rules.

And you can support this product idea.
