Hello,
We are looking to base SLO monitoring on a user experience score.
I notice that for the template SLO, Dynatrace only uses the satisfied scored user actions instead of the actual Apdex. The Apdex is a well accepted method of measure of user experience but what is the reason this differs from the actual calculation?
Or should we just adjust the template by recreating the calculation: (satisfied + tolerated/2)/total actions.
Or am I missing some point why tolerated action are not weighted into the template?

The templates are there to help/accelerate the process of creating the SLO. In your case if you feel you want to capture Tolerated in the 'ok' group then just do as you've proposed.
Fyi - in: 'Settings->Web and mobile monitoring->User Experience score' there's the option to amend the thresholds too of Frustrated & Satisfied.
