Dynatrace offered a new built-in feature in the recent releases to facilitate post-deployment configuration instead of using oneagentctl or systemctl, ..etc
Simply:
- Navigate to Manage > Deployment status > Oneagents.
- Select the intended servers for customization.
- you have the option to remove the host property assignment from the host or assign a new host property.
- host property is a key-value pairs, it can be for example Server Type= Appserver or DBserver or Midlleware and so on and so forth.
- Multiple host properties are allowed.
- this host property can be used later on in tagging and advanced configurations as well.
- run the action > wait ~ 2 minutes, changes will take effect through the UI.
to remove host property, provide the key value pairs and it will be deleted
