- Database administrator should ensure the required permissions are given as per official Dynatrace hub: Oracle Database Monitoring
- after ensuring there is connectivity by executing telnet.
- start adding the oracle DB instances.
- select the intended activegate group.
- accept Dynatrace redistribution license agreement for Oracle JDBC Driver
- specify the below instance parameters.


Then next, select the required metrics to be pulled from the monitored instances.
automatically, the required insights will be displayed on the built-in Oracle dashboard.
