Customize ActiveGate installation and Dynatrace Remote Plugin Module Location

Dear All,

We have a custom installation of the Environment ActiveGate with the below folders:

• INSTALL
• LOG
• CONFIG
• TEMP

The remote plugin module is available in the following locations:

• /dyna/dm_install/remotepluginmodule/plugin_deployment
• /dyna/dm_config/remotepluginmodule/plugin_deployment

In this situation, what is the right location to place the ActiveGate extension e.g. custom.remote.python.ibmmqpcf?

I used the below location and it worked for me.

• /dyna/dm_install/remotepluginmodule/plugin_deployment

Correct place to add custom extension is in install path.

You shouldn't have two plugin_deployment folders. Was the one in config path added manually?
