CyberArk vault monitoring

Hi, I’m interested in monitoring CyberArk with Dynatrace. What are the available solutions for monitoring CyberArk’s performance, connection to vaults, etc?

Hi,

I think there are a few ways currently. 

• AFAIK, CyberArk shares Prometheus metrics, so you can write your own custom Dynatrace Extension to monitor it
• You can use Dynatrace Synthetic 
• If your CyberArk is Self-Hosted you can also install Dynatrace OneAgent

To contribute to this thread, my approach was to monitor the CyberArk API through the HTTP Monitor and emulate the steps to retrieve a password from the vault.
