How to create an SNMP extension?

I need to create an SNPM extension, but I don't know how to create the file structure. I have loaded extension.yaml. 

How can I generate the rest of the files for the extension to work?

Have you tried the Dynatrace SNMP extensions first? They should probably be tested first, and if they do not meet your needs, you should then try to create your own.
