How to show SAP GUI and ABAP Platform extension data running on fresh SaaS environment with out classic metrics support?

Hi guys,

For a new customer with fresh new environment any idea how can we show data in dashboard that used to be displayed by custom application metrics: 

And how to create uscm/uacm with out setting classic in this environment?

Afaik, custom apps are not yet in the Pure Gen3, see this post. Classic metrics would normally be possible with Code tile and by utilising the classic environment api, but this endpoint is not available with pure Gen3 environments. That applies to user action custom metrics, too.

@Krzysztof_Ziemi is there any update of the SAP extension in the pipeline? Maybe replacing the custom app with Bizevents ingest similar to the Salesforce extension?

@Julius_Loman is right and I've updated the product idea to reflect our current plans. 

In terms of visualizing the data he's right - make use of the API for the time being to show these metrics in Dashboards or capture bizevents and follow that path.

Classic custom app data (sessions, performance etc.) can still be accessed by these environments directly. Also from within Experience Vitals we provide the link to the classic UI for a custom app monitored.
