Oracle DB Extension failing under config/deploy - DB Insight works fine

Visitor

Dynatrace Managed Enviroment -
ActiveGate 1.305.57 All Extensions are Enabled on both servers and they are both member of the DEFAULT group.
Database server - Linux Redhat - OneAgent version: 1.305.98.20250114-172617

Network from AG server to DB server ok - Firewall open on port 1521,1522 and 1523

Have configured Database Insight (Oracle) to connect to the database (host/port/SID/user) - and everything works fine.

But when I try to install the same Oracle in Oracle DB Extensions it's not working - get this error;

"ERROR Failed to assign monitoring configuration to ActiveGate. Reason: The monitoring configuration requires ActiveGate
version 1.301.0 or later that supports data source sqlOracle and belongs to group "default""

Have reinstalled AG with out any change.
Restartet the ActiveGate (systemctl restart dynatracegateway)(systemctl restart extensionsmodule) no change.

When DB Insights work - looks like access to DB is Ok from the AG servers - but can't find why it's not possible to push the Oracle DB Extension.

Can you tell some more about the ActiveGate? Are they running on containers, or are they multi tenant maybe?

Mike

It's is 2 Redhat Linux Virtuel Servers running as Enviroment Active Gate - no Container

Are they regular x86 servers? If so, open a support ticket.

Mike
