Hi all.
We have a RabbitMQ host inside a kubernetes` container . Is it possible to monitor it in some way?
We have seen in the document that it is not possible:
Dynatrace plugins only run on physical or virtual hosts, not within containers.
https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/shortlink/supported-technologies#plugins
But it is planned in the future can be done?
Thanks and regards

Container support for plugins is planned.
That being said, our services department has already created a custom RabbitMQ plugin that works with Kubernetes. As it is custom it might need to be adjusted for your environment, and it would consume custom metrics. If you're interested, reach out to extensions@dynatrace.comMike

My company also has a gap in this area. Is it possible to get some information regarding this? Currently we have to use another competing product to gain visibility.

You can reach out to the above email for information about the custom plugin. There are no news regarding a broad out of the box support.

The new Prometheus extension for RabbitMQ works fine with containerized RabbitMQ processes: https://www.dynatrace.com/hub/detail/prometheus-rabbitmq/
