Report metrics in Dynatrace Web Portal

Hello,

I am new to dynatrace, i am feeding custom metrics using dynatrace oneagent extension.  i am using 'statetimeseries' metrics type.  while feeding metric I am also attaching custom report with help of object '

self.results_builder.add_property()'. wondering where this info visible in Dynatrace Web UI ?

That gets added as a property on the entity which you are targeting with the extension. Either the host, or a process. Which one depends on your technology section in the plugin.json.

For entity of either type, is it possible to build chart against these property field? any reference around this would be helpful.

You can not use that value in charts. It's only visible on the entity screens. If you want it for charts you should probably add it as a dimension to the metric you're sending in instead.
