SAP plugin configuration checkbox

Hi,

I just came across a new checkbox with the latest SAP plugin version 1.78. It is named "Poll all clustered SAP instances".

Does this mean if checked, I do not have to enter an instance id anymore and it will find all instances on this server on his own?

Hi,

What the checkbox will do is connect to the first SAP application server instance that you've entered, and then ask that instance what other instances it's clustered with (using TH_SERVER_LIST). It will then loop through the instances and poll all of them. You can accomplish exactly the same by creating several endpoints, but this option will save you some typing and it will auto discover new instances if they are added.
