We would like to give development team access to logs files. Strangely, when we want to configure this we don't get the Log File section under Hosts >select host (solaris). This is doable on Windows hosts, can you please advise on how we can achieve this? Any plugins we need to add?

Solaris and AIX agents do not have the log analytics capabilities as Linux and Windows agents have.
There is a solution - using the API recently released, but it requires the Log analytics premium license, an Environment ActiveGate and you have to ship the logs to the ActiveGate by yourself (syslog / HTTP) using 3rd party tools. So it's not that easy as with OneAgent on Linux/Windows.
