Adding a configuration to extensions 2.0

Hello All,

I found below in the documentation in the "Process group detection":

  Add your configuration to Extensions 2.0

  You can also attach your current configuration to your Extensions 2.0 extension so that your custom      extension comes with predefined process grouping rules

Who can explain when this can be used? E.g. what is a use case for this?

Hello there, I think this applies when you need to define a custom process group detection rule to encapsulate the metrics that your newly created extension reports to Dynatrace. You can even add topology data and create new process groups from the extension itself using this Custom Configuration, however it is complementary to the metrics definition and not a requirement for all.
