We're using Backstage as our IDP frontend with ArgoCD for GitOps deployments, and we're exploring ways to improve deployment visibility within the Backstage catalog.
One challenge we're seeing is that when a deployment status changes in ArgoCD (for example, Sync Failed or Degraded), the status shown in Backstage can lag behind because we're relying on the standard ArgoCD plugin polling interval.
Has anyone integrated Dynatrace with Backstage to provide more near real-time deployment or health status updates on Backstage entity pages, rather than waiting for the next ArgoCD poll cycle?
If so, I'd be interested in understanding the approach used (custom Backstage plugin, event-driven integration, Dynatrace API, etc.).
