CA Introscope APM running on the same server as Dynatrace

We have are facing a Slowdown issue in one of our applications. There is another APM called CA Instrocope monitoring the enviroment and trying to capture the root cause for the slowdown but it still couldn't detect the root cause.

We wouldn't like to install and have any application unavalability.

So can Dynatrace run together with another APM or it is not commended indeed?

Any processes that you want deep code level visibility for should automatically disable any other agents it detects that are also modifying things at the code level to avoid conflicts since they haven't and cannot be tested together. So best practice would probably be to remove the other agent (if there is one) but Dynatrace OneAgents should be able to disable it on their own if necesary.

As James mentioned, the OneAgent will try to automatically disable other agents and inject itself for deep process and service monitoring. That being said, though, I've run into cases before where this fails and the OneAgent does not successfully inject. Recommendation would be to uninstall any other monitoring tools/agents before installing the OneAgent.
