Calculate Adaptive Traffic Management documentation in the DPS

I do not know how to calculate the Adaptive Traffic Management documentation in DPS as described in the URL below.
https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/dps-hosts#distributed-traces

In the "Peak trace volume/minute calculation example," why is it multiplied by a multiplier of 100?
Under what conditions does this multiplier change?

Hi @kohtsuka ,

Regarding the documentation I understand the example shows a realistic allowed bandwidth for :

First 15-minute interval
45 KiB (peak trace volume) × 13.5 (GiB memory) × 100 (example multiplier) = 59.32 MiB/min -> 1350 GiB active

Second 15-minute interval
45 KiB (peak trace volume) × 9.5 (GiB memory) × 100 (example multiplier) = 41.75 MiB/min -> -> 950 GiB active

Third 15-minute interval
45 KiB (peak trace volume) × 8.75 (GiB memory) × 100 (example multiplier) = 38.45 MiB/min -> 875 GiB active

It is the same principle as Adaptive Traffic V3 for Classic licensing (1HU adds 720 KiB/min, so 720/16=45 KiB/min).

Here is a more complete documentation :

https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/observe-and-explore/purepath-distributed-traces/adaptive-traffic-man...

I hope this helps 🙂
