Hi Guys,
Please help me know if we can monitor Websphere MQ metrics using Dynatrace Managed ?
I am mentioning some of the metrics that we would be interested in to fetch :
Queue Managers :
-Monitor Number of connections to QM
-Channel initiator status
-command server status
-Queue Manager uptime
Channels :
-monitor completed batch count
-buffers received count
-buffers sent count
-bytes received/sent
-compression rate
-compression time
-exit per message
-long retires left
-Channel uptime
-channel status
-time since last MQI(Messae Queue Interface) call handled
-Monitor state of channels like stopping,initializinf,switching channel,retrying , requesting,binding,running
Messaging Queues :
-Dead Letter Queue depth
-number of messages in the queue
-no of applications connected to queue to put messages on the queue
-no of applications connected to queue to get messages on the queue
-time duration for which a message is in the queue
- oldest message age in the queue
- time since last successful GET to the queue
- time since last successful PUT from the queue
Note : I have checked the below link but it speaks only from Appmon and not Dynatrace Managed
Thanks

You'll see messaging as outgoing calls from OneAgent monitored processes but to get the level of depth you're looking for would likely require a plugin that can log in to the queue manager and pull the info like the community plugin in AppMon.

Thanks james! Yes I am looking for something similar to appmon plugin like you mentioned.
Nothing like that exists for now , I will raise an RFE for dynatrace to consider this further.
Thanks

Hi Himanshu -- has this RFE been raised? Could you provide the link so I can vote on it?
I see that there is another one that is similar at:
