We are looking for any comparisons or documentation between AWS X-Ray vs Dynatrace (Distributed PurePath). We understand there are limitations for Dynatrace comparing against X-Ray in AWS native, but we don’t have all the info where using X-Ray might be the only option for the monitoring needs. If you were in similar situation, how did you resolve and can you share your experiences.
Any ideas or recommendations are welcomed and appreciated
Thank you in advance
I've found this discussion valuable: https://www.quora.com/Should-I-use-AWS-X-Ray-for-AWS-application-monitoring-or-one-of-the-full-fledg...
Maybe it helps you as well.
@Radoslaw_Szulgo thank you for sharing this good article with us. Wondering if Dynatrace would create any kind of list that would help folks to build internal business case. Off the bat I can say or been saying that Dynatrace gives the customers who have hybrid cloud, multi cloud, No change in UI vs (X-Ray need to understand, learning curve), siloed vs end to end tracing if multiple accounts (ex. In a company you can have multiple LOB’s with multiple accounts), etc.
