Configure ActiveGate for DMZ

Hi everyone,

I am trying to install activegate inside a DMZ in order to have communication with the servers inside the DMZ and the Dynatrace. On the server is already enabled port 443 and the firewall we have allowed the IP addresses that communicate to Dynatrace. However, the activegate is still not listed, what could be missing?

Check the ActiveGate logs for any communication errors and you can also check if the Dynatrace server nodes are reachable simp;y by executing 

curl -k https://<your-server-hostname>:443/communication 

If it responds with the HTTP 400 status code and Error: 400 invalid user-agent header, the server is reachable.

I executed the command and sent me the following message: failed to connect to server_hostname port 443 after 1052ms: couldn't connect to server.

So you have a connection issue and need to talk to your network / firewall team to resolve this. Also, check if there are no local firewalls on the hosts.
