Disk Edge vs Custom disk rules vs Disk options

Hi,

We can exclude filesystems using Disk Options (schemaId -> builtin:disk.options).

We can configure custom disk rules at environment level and host group level (schemaId -> builtin:anomaly-detection.disk-rules).

And Disk Edge is coming with OneAgent version 1.293+ (schemaId -> builtin:infrastructure.disk.edge.anomaly-detectors).

Is this a replacement to custom disk rules? Are they are going to co-exist each other?

Hello @AntonPineiro

As per Dynatrace documentation both features are present and available as of now:

As per Release notes:

I think there is upcoming disk monitoring enhancement and Dynatrace will introduce new capabilities.

Hoping it adds value.

Hi,

To answer myself. After several months both are available. And you can create alerts using both.

I would say both coexist and migration is not mandatory if custom disk rules fit your needs.
