I am trying to understand the disk space requirements that are documented for Linux at the following URL:

The part of the documentation that is unclear to me relates to the 1.9 GB required for updates. The documentation has notes on the “Size of the installation process” but I have not been able to clearly understand what it means in terms of exact space requirements on specific mount points. From what I've been able to find, mostly it is the process of downloading, unpacking, and applying the update files. Once the update is complete, and no agents are on older versions, then the previous archived versions are cleaned up.

Hi Jeff, Here is how we calculate the amount of additional space required for updates. This accounts for the installer file itself, along with the installation process of disk space itself that Chad referred to.
