Drop the IBM MQ metrics

Is it possible to drop the unnecessary metrics similar to the Oracle databases extension?

I imagine you'd need to edit the extension zip file before its published to the entity/AG. I don't think the average extension allows you to remove/turn on/off metric collection for particular segments.

The actual version of the OneAgent/ActiveGate extensions for MQ monitoring doesn't let the choice on which metrics to collect.

The upcoming versions on the Extension Framework 2.0 will leverage Feature Sets to let you select which metrics to collect.
