Dynatrace Memory dump for Dot Net

Hello Everyone,

I want to know, how long Dynatrace use time to trigger the memory dump? And what effect during making the memory dump?

Hi,

The OneAgent will immediately initiate a memory dump after the trigger. The time required is dependent on the application itself. Stated in the documentation: " The time required varies widely based on application type. Java applications that have multiple GBs of heap memory may take several minutes; smaller dumps will be available almost immediately.".

Memory dumps will have some overhead on the host it is triggered on.
