Is there a way to exclude a specific service from deep monitoring
1. I don't want to exclude the process, other services from this process are to be monitored.
2. I'd like to not configure URL's exclusion (server side monitoring -> deep monitoring), not elegant 🙂
Thanks!

I don't think you can outside of the URL. There are a few work arounds that you could do:
1 - Turn off alerting for the given service within its settings.
2 - Put the Given Service into a Maintenance window to Ignore alerts.
3 - Mute all the requests on the given service.
4 - Disable the deep monitoring of the supported process level.

Hi,
Thanks!
That is what thought!
I think these don't do it for me:
1 - Turn off alerting for the given service within its settings.
2 - Put the Given Service into a Maintenance window to Ignore alerts.
3 - Mute all the requests on the given service.
This one "4. Disable the deep monitoring of the supported process level." also works but we would need to configure it for each process group.
Thanks!

I don't have a solution, but in case there is another way to achieve your goal, what is the purpose of removing monitoring for a specific service?

Hi,
Just to exclude noisy ou unimportant requests from being "traced", this way we can better manage ATM.
