Hi All,
Good Morning !!
My name is Deepak and I currently work at Standard Chartered Bank as an observability architect.
we have various APIs that support HMACSHA256 authentication. And wanted to onboard on Dynatrace. However Dynatrace throws in a syntax error. when I am the same script trying to pass from Postman got the successful answer. There's certainly something wrong with Dynatrace. If Dynatrace can help us to work with us and understand Dynatrace product problem on HMACSHA256 it would be great help and expect more business from SCB.
Thanks,
Deepak Ranjan

Hi @deepakranjan for a better understanding of your problem, can you provide an example using postman where everything goes OK, and another when you receive the syntax error. Thks.

Hi Dainel,
Here is the attached screenshot for a reference.
If you could ask your engineering team to set up a call with us. that would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Deepak

From your images, you want to use the same script as postman with a synthetic, you can configure a pre execution script in synthetics.
Let´s your engineering team check that info first.
