How to limit monitoring to an application in a mutualized server ?

Hello,

We want to monitor an application which is running in a server that host other applications (mutualized server). What are the sollutions we have in dynatrace to only limit the monitoring to the application target ?

Hi @Sonia_A 

In case by writing application you mean server side monitoring:

• If you have separated process for each application (service in dynatrace terminology) you can switch off deep monitoring from the process group page.
• If all the applications (services) are running on the same process you can mute the end point you do not want to monitor.

In case by writing application you mean client side monitoring (web applications):

• If you have separated process for each application you can switch off deep monitoring from the process group page to all process you don't need to monitor.
• If all applications are running on the same process, you can direct only your application to a web application and set my default application injection rule to  do not inject.
