How to monitor a count of process executions on a host?

I want to monitor using Dynatrace how many times a process was running on a particular host.

OR

I would like to get a count of how many times somename.exe was executed on a host.

Hi @bhargav,

I would recommend using the "Process count per process group" metrics to fetch the information you are after. Here is an example that will help you better understand how to replicate.

Say for example I have a process called an operator or any technology instance that is monitored by Dynatrace. You can use the same metrics "Process count per Process Group" and later filter the list of data to a specific host by using the tagging mechanism. 

Hope this helps, I would recommend playing around with tagging rule and using the process software technology as the filter to refine the results.
