Instrumenting java app running on HP-UX

Hello Team 

I understood that OneAgent is not supported on HP-UX, so what would be the best way to instrument the java app running in it?

does dynatrace provide javaagent jar file similar to other vendors like appdynamics to instrument the app ? or it would be better to cover this through Opentelemetry  Agent ?

Hi,

You can use this extension for infra metrics. This is remote monitoring, no agent is installed in hosts.

And integrate Opentelemetry also.

OpenTelemetry is the only way here for application instrumentation. HP-UX was never supported by Dynatrace OneAgent.
