Lambda Function to use Network Zone?

Is there a way to get lambdas to communicate to a network zone rather than straight to the cluster? when i go to Deploy Dynatrace and grab the config details to put into a lambda, i don't see any mention of network zone, just a BaseUrl. I also can't seem to find this mentioned anywhere in any documentation.

Unlike code modules which select their communication endpoint from a list of AG received from server, Lambda extensions will communicate to the endpoint specified in DT_CONNECTION_BASE_URL only. They don't know about network zones.
