Hi Everybody!
We have one tenant in Dynatrace but we do work with many departments, external partners.
To get the OneAgent installed on hosts sometimes we need to provide another department or partner installation instructions.
This has now resulted a couple of times already that we have seen more hosts in our license then we expected and we have no option to control this.
Imagine the following; you provide your customer or department an installer for the Linux OneAgent.
Next he makes a mistake; he deploys the OneAgent to 3ooo servers by accident.
Now we have a challenge to explain to Dynatrace why our license has grown from 250 Host units to 3250.
That is our request, let me know what you think!
Kind regards,
Marcel

There are many posts in the requests for enhancements section of the forum pointing out the fact that there needs to be much tighter controls when it comes to permissions. I would suggest adding your vote to them as I do believe that Dynatrace has received the message loud and clear on this one that what we have today for permissions is not sufficient for enterprise deployment.
Let's just say, I do a lot of babysitting of our environments.
