Microsoft IIS Extension DPS Data Metric points

We have enabled Microsoft IIS Extension and we are trying to estimate the DPS Data Metric points as per below Formula
1 metric data point × 60 min × 24 h × 365 days = 525,600 metric data points/year

But the IIS Extension has multiple IIS APP Pools and IIS Sites, How do we included Data metric points calculation?

I would suggest checking your billing report. And filter by DDU ingestion.

Add: if you want to calculate it before activating:

In the plugin documentation (also on the Hub) you would see the number of metrics collected by the plugin.
if a metric is filterable by dimension, f.e. IIS App Pool, you would get a data point per dimension.
So I would investigate what you would want to collect, since this is configurable, and then see which dimensions are included in the 30 metrics.
