@ct_27 Have you gotten any insight into this? Hopefully you get your question answered with perform being right around the corner. If you do happen to get a timeline or such please share it with the community 🙂

Dynatrace, any response to this? I did not have time to ask this at Perform2023 but our DBAs are still looking for this capability. They had it with the old Oracle Insight and found it useful. They need it for MS SQL.
Also, does the new MS SQL Server monitors inform you of slowest running query for ALL queries, not just those coming through the application layer.

Query level visibility is planned to be added to ALL the DB extensions (obviously - depending on the technical possibility).
We already added the simplified version to the Oracle extension (in v1.0.9), MS SQL is next in line, but there's no ETA yet.
Now we're working on the design and release plan for the DB monitoring application leveraging Grail and AppEngine.
Regarding the second question - similarly to the Oracle solution, the DB monitoring extensions will track ALL the queries executed on the server. We're also investigating whether it will be possible to trace the query and its execution performance from client- to the server-layer.
More to come in public blog post soon.
