Monitoring AIX errpt output

Hi ,

Is there a solution to monitor output of errpt in AIX servers for hardware failure? Checked the logs in the following paths, but I couldn't find anything:

• /etc/objrepos/SWservAt/*.log

• /var/adm/ras/errlog/*.log

• /var/adm/ras/errpt/*.log

• /var/adm/ras/errtmplt/*.log

• /var/log/errpt/*.log

If anyone has already configured this, please let me know.

Hi,
is the error daemon enabled?
run this command

errdemon -l

The log paths you have indicated are correct to the best of my knowledge.

If the information is only displayed when executing the errpt -d H command, it might be possible to create a Python Extension to run this command and extract the information periodically.
