Network Latency Impact

Dear All,

According to the documentation, the network latency should be around 10 ms or less between nodes.

We are planning to stretch the Dynatrace Managed Cluster, and the average network latency between both data centers is 15ms.

Can we proceed with this setup having the plus/minus 15ms network latency?

Things can get a bit wonky between clustered nodes if you have latency. but you might be able to get away with it. Are these nodes in the same data center? I know Dynatrace has been working on getting the ability to have clustered nodes set up in multiple data centers so if Site A has a disaster, then Site B and Site C will carry the load and so on.

Hello @Chad T.

Nodes are in different datacenters. I was just wondering about the latency.

Babar
