Yes, the same command and same token can be used. Is a global install command/file. After the install, the output should state and be clear if could connect or not to the cluster.
It should take at least 2 or 3 minutes until you have most of the info already reporting. But it should be pretty fast, at the 5 minutes mark if there is nothing you should check the logs.
