Segments: entities and related metrics

Hi Community,

Currently we've added segments based upon tags coming out of the cloud. This works perfectly in dashboard and notebook when I'm fetching the entities first. But when I start from the metrics, each notebook tile (or dashboard) stays empty since the segment is not matched.

Anyone has an idea how we could potentially improve our segment to include metrics from entities that have certain tags? The workaround is to pull the metrics first and then pull the timeseries but for me this seems like a lot of extra DQL coding in the dashboards / notebooks and it'll probably not work in each released app where segments are involved.

Hi!

Facing the same issue. Including metrics in segments has been a pain.

It would be great if someone from Dynatrace could shed some light on this.
The docs are not so clear and quite focused on specific use cases...
