Is there a way in Dynatrace to get an alert when a process crashes ( or crashes multiple times in a row)

What I can see is that you can monitor the number of processes in a PG, etc. But that is not what I am looking for.

I have seen that events can be extracted with the "Events API", so more general the question is

How to use events as metrics in Dynatrace?
