View Only Access to Dynatrace Configuration Settings

Hi Team , We are using Dynatrace Manage solution . We got requirement that users want to view all the configuration done for each entity in Dynatrace console like , Host setting, Application setting , Service Setting , Maintenance window configures , Service detection rules , Alerting profiles configured , SNOW integration profiles , All the feature available inside Settings tab . Kindly let us know which role should user be given so he can view configuration done. I have saw similar level of access to Dynatrace demo website but do not find such role in Dynatrace Manage. Requirement is for Console view not for API level access.

At the moment there is no such setting or permission you can set on your own. I'd recommend asking Dynatrace ONE if there an option to get read-only access for everyone, like in the demo environment.

Hi,

I had a similar requirement a few months back and we are using our Composer tool to provide insights to the latest configuration in Dynatrace.

We create daily configuration backups in a fully automated fashion, push these config backups to a version control system and assign read access to this configuration repo for the interested users. It is very easy to use, provides the required insights and fulfills our config backup requirements as well.
