Volatile Database - DB calls grouped into 1 database service

Hello,

I've got a weird situation where a lot of applications calls to databases are being grouped into a single database service called Volatile Database where I'm unable to view any details of the database calls.

Can anyone explain whats going on in this situation and how I can split this out by database name / host name?

I should add there was 1 IP and 1 Port listed in the details, not a group of IPs or Ports.

I don’t think that you are able to force such splitting by Dynatrace configuration. It must be related to how application is using database (I assume this from database name presented on your screen).

Is there anything unusual about how your application is using database?

I think best what you can do right now is open support ticket. Don’t forget to share resolution here if there will be any.
