What does rb mean?

Hi Everyone,

A security software is detecting some Cross-Site Scripting and Illegal Resources Access event of the following events (Screenshots are attached)...

I need to know what does "rb_bjd443882" mean on the url?

I figured out that bjd443882  comes from  our Dynatrace environment, but I'm not sure what does the letters rb mean.

Thanks in advance

@soportetr,

The requests are from the Dynatrace RUM functionality.

Interesting question! I would imagine that r stands for "Ruxit" or "Real user monitoring". Don't really know, and believe it's not that important.

More information on how this works can be seen in this link:

IIRC it's request beacon, but I might have just made that up for myself at one point 😄  Might also be ruxit/rum beacon.

In any case, this is the monitoring data captured from the RUM script that is sent to the server async.
